AOC Saint-Emilion
La Grande Cuvée Saint-Emilion is the result of a painstaking selection of wines representing the great diversity of vineyard plots across the appellation. Dourthe winemakers play an active role, notably during the harvest and vintage to guarantee wines of the highest quality. The most promising wines, selected for their character and harmony, are matured for 12 months in new French oak barrels.
Tasting notes
With its attractive dark ruby appearance, La Grande Cuvée Saint-Emilion 2020 opens with a delicious and very expressive bouquet, which combines fruity and floral notes (raspberry, violet). Initially round on the palate, the firm body is underpinned by silky tannins. The wine is long and aromatic on the finish, with delicately spicy notes.
